30th May 2015, Avene Sun Care Series gathered us together in an event to discuss about sun care. I was invited by IBB in person and I love Avene, i used their products a lot especially the facial mist. It is amazing if you have sunburn! *it seems like i got burn a lot isnt it haha* To introduct Avene Indonesia to the public, an event was held in Senayan City with talk shows involving a few of skin expert like Dr. Sonia Wibisono, Dr. Ariyani Sudharmono and Dr. Syarief Hidayat

I arrived at the event earlier just because i hate being late but sadly the event ran late where i cant stay longer due to my appointments for a family dinner. Anyhoo, back to the event, as the time goes by our skin face some changes with internal and outer factor and one of the outer factor is the sun. The sun rays is dangerous where it can caused sunburn, redness then it will peel off *not a pleasant feeling and not a pleasant look to look at! trust me* It can also caused pigmentation, aging on the skin and we dont want that! A protection for your skin is a must with a sunscreen!

What is the best way to use a sunscreen? apply to the skin 30 minutes before outdoor activities so that the sunscreen can be absorb into the skin at its maximum capacity. The first thing you have to recognized and check when it comes to picking the sunscreen is the SPF. Pick them in a minimal of SPF 15. The smaller the spf, the more you need to re-apply it.

Based on Dr. Sonia Wibisono, a dermatologist mentioned that Indonesian people are not wary to the danger of the UV light therefore the lack of the sunscreen application. If you have a sensitive skin, it is wised to be very careful when it comes to picking up skin products because once you pick the wrong ones, it will caused irritations in forms on allergy, redness, burning and uncomfortable sensation.

Now, time for the quick review! I received this Sunscreen Emulsion. Yeap you read it right! This is my very first emulsion form of sunscreen. Usually sun screen are in a form of lotion but this is not. The packaging is simple with a majority of orange. The emulsion is created for people with sensitive skin like me. It contains SPF50 and of course i didnt waste any time to try it!

I go swimming at noon, not morning nor evening. I cant stand the cold water therefore noon is the perfect timing but the worst as the sun rays is out and strong. This is where and when the spf 50 comes in handy! *thank you Avene*

This product comes in a very hygienic form, it has the cap and it has the pump. To use it, just press the pump and here is when you can take a good control of your product. Dont use it too much as the spf wont add. If you are thinking: first layer = spf 50, then if i add another layer it becomes spf 100, you are wrong!

After i tried it onto my skin, i have to agree with the statement above, it has a white appearance but once you blend it, there is no white residue left over, it absorb into the skin very quickly and waterproof. The texture is not that thick compare to a lotion but it is thick enough compare to any other liquid-y emulsion. The scent is pretty subtle, nothing strong.
