REVIEW - WATER BASED LIQUID FOUNDATION + MINERAL POWDER

Hello guys.

Yes as i have promised you, i have finally bought liquid foundation + mineral powder

The first thing i bought was

then just for fun i bought:

then i actually found this in my mom's room

then the mineral powder

so the CONCLUSION

LOREAL
- was still abit cakey and slightly heavy for a water based foundation, my skin gets oily in 2 hrs. not recommended.. kinda a waste of money

LANCOME
- when people say " there is a price for every quality" i guess they are right, Lancome did cost me a lot.. but when i tried it, it feels light! so light like im not wearing anything on my face! i did try putting on this foundation at 2pm ish... n i went to the gym at 6.30 . done at 7pm... n guess wat.. my skin is still 70% dry! gotta loveee loveeeee this item. no regret at all

MAYBELLINE
- too thin, dry fast. bleah....

LOREAL LOOSE MINERAL POWDER
- smooth but deep down i still doubt it..

MAYBELLINE LOOSE MINERAL POWDER
- smooth but still not the right one

I didnt have time / money to buy REVLON, but I PROMISE YOU , this weekend i will buy and try it out. for REVLON: loose mineral powder, photography foundation, eyeshadow :D

stay tune!!!

INTRODUCTION: Drugstore vs Dept / Boutique make up (liquid foundation+powder) - OILY SKIN

so, who has a very oily (&sensitive;) skin? hands up!! *i do*
i am sure you know how annoying it is to have an oily skin, esp me when i live in a country where there are only 2 seasons. well.. the weather is going through some changes so it is almost hot the whole year. you could say, i am having summer in a year :D. it is also super duper annoying where and when you are out with your friends clubbing, partying, dancing, or just plain hanging out. As a girl, i would love to look at the top of the best of myself ... but oily skin isnt really "supporting" me on that area.

so here is what i have been planning.. and researching..

i found that.. for oily skin..

ALWAYS GO FOR WATER-BASED LIQUID FOUNDATION
DO NOT GO FOR THE ONES THAT CONTAIN OIL... unless you want to look like you just swam in a pool of oil then feel free to do so ;D

The foundation that i have chosen are:
- LANCOME MAQUILIQUIDE UV INFINITE LQD FNDTION
- LANCOME TEINT MIRACLE FOUNDATION
- REVLON COLOURSTAY
- LOREAL TRUE MATCH
- MAYBELLINE MINERAL POWER LQD FOUNDATION

i am fix that i will buy the Lancome's.. both of them.

REVLON COLOURSTAY- some people say it is not good for oily skin but some say it is alright because it is for normal to dry skin.. so maybe i will just try the tester n see how it is on my face...

LOREAL TRUE MATCH- if i am not mistaken.. i think i tried this before, my mom recommended this to me as it is really good on her but when i tried it, it felt so.. cakey. i didnt like it but maybe i should just give it another try again.

MAYBELLINE LIQUID FOUNDATION- I HAVE NEVER TRY IT BEFORE. SHOULD I DO AND BUY?

so lets go to loose powder.
i have been hearing people told me.. well also my dermatologist.. that people with oily skin will be better off with loose powder..
then again i heard that we should go for the mineral ones (e.g bare mineral, but i cant buy it cuz it isnt in the market in JKT)

so i have done my research so i came up with the conclusion to buy
- MAYBELINE MINERAL POWDER
- LOREAL BARE NATURAL MINERAL MAKE UP (LOOSE POWDER)

I will buy these two loose powder :D

JFW2012

What could be better to write about other than JAKARTA FASHION WEEK 2012.

I got lucky *prays and thanking Lord* to get a ticket to go into GRAZIA GLITZ&GLAM; fashion show on SUNDAY 13 NOVEMBER 2011. I am very excited and currently thinking what to wear. Hmmm, should i go for black simple dress with diamonds? thats like the safe move to go. OR be daring and go for colors?

well stay tune readers

hello beauty&fashion; 101

okay okay, i am not a professor in this very field. :P but i dont know, the "101" is just too catchy and i had to use it.

so hello, as you all know i am also the owner on a graphic design "blueteacupdesign.blogspot.com" blogspot, but apart from "drowning" myself in piles and piles of lovely design, i love fashion and beauty.

maybe in fashion it is more to the styling part. i love spending most of my nights thinking and ransacking my wardrobe seeking for the best mix and match outfits, then i will compiled them together and hang them on the single clothe long hanger steel thingy. i have no idea what to call them :P

i love make up, i am no make up artist tho. but i love putting make up. i love buying their products.

so stay tuned for more updates or maybe opinions or maybe advice from me ;)
